Review
Apple's annual September event is one of the most significant moments in the tech world, traditionally held at Apple Park in Cupertino. These keynotes set the tone for the smartphone market and remain a major point of interest for tech enthusiasts in Georgia, as the company's announcements consistently shape global industry trends.
At the event held on September 9, 2026, Apple unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, powered by the A20 Pro chip and a new vapor chamber for thermal management. The devices feature a 48-megapixel main camera with variable aperture, a smaller Dynamic Island, and the new Siri AI integrated into iOS 27. The presentation also introduced the latest Apple Watch lineup and AirPods 5. Prices for the new handsets start at $1,199, with retail availability beginning on September 18.
Following the launch, Apple confirmed a hardware defect in the iPhone 18 Pro Max affecting connectivity for AT&T users, which leads to persistent SOS mode issues. Meanwhile, the ecosystem has seen interesting developments: a new application now allows Apple Watch functionality on Android devices, and Amazon has discounted the Apple Watch SE 3 by $50. Additionally, while the new Apple Watch Ultra 4 offers improved health monitoring and battery life, the base Series 12 continues to provide strong competition for the flagship model.
