Galaxy Unpacked — July 2026

On July 22, Samsung held its traditional summer Galaxy Unpacked event in London, where the company unveiled the eighth generation of its foldable smartphone series. This event is one of the most significant moments in the global tech calendar, annually setting the trends for mobile innovation. For Georgian users, these updates are particularly relevant, as Samsung flagships remain among the most sought-after devices in our local market.

This year's presentation featured the Galaxy Z Fold8, Z Fold8 Ultra, and Z Flip8 models. The Galaxy Z Fold8 stands out with a new shape, a 5.5-inch cover screen, and a 7.6-inch main display; weighing only 201 grams, it is the lightest Fold model in the series to date. Meanwhile, the Z Fold8 Ultra is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery, and both Fold models support 45W fast charging.

The Galaxy Z Flip8 introduced users to smarter AI features integrated directly into the FlexWindow cover screen. Immediately following the conclusion of the event, the company opened pre-orders for the new lineup, allowing enthusiasts to be among the first to experience these latest technological advancements.
