Zotac Unveils the World’s Most Compact RTX 5080 System
The new Magnus One Ultra crams desktop-grade performance into an 11-litre chassis.

Zotac has introduced its new compact desktop, the Magnus One Ultra, a device that balances immense power with a remarkably small footprint. Housed in a chassis measuring just 11.46 litres, the system features Nvidia’s latest desktop graphics card, the GeForce RTX 5080. This is a significant achievement, as many compact computers rely on mobile GPUs, whereas this system provides full desktop-grade performance.
Technical Specifications and Power
At the heart of the Magnus One Ultra is an Intel Core Ultra 7 265 processor, which features 20 cores and operates at speeds up to 5.3 GHz. Built on Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture, the RTX 5080 comes equipped with 16GB of GDDR7 memory. The GPU includes 10,752 CUDA cores, 336 Tensor cores, and 84 RT cores, making it approximately 33% more powerful than the RTX 4080 in gaming scenarios. According to Nvidia, the system delivers 1,801 AI TOPS, making it ideal for local artificial intelligence tasks.
Inside the case, there is an 850W power supply, sufficient to ensure the stable operation of these high-performance components. The system includes two slots for DDR5 RAM, supporting up to 96GB of memory. For storage, users have access to two M.2 slots, which support both PCIe 5.0 and PCIe 4.0 standards.
Connectivity and Capabilities
Despite its compact size, Zotac has not compromised on connectivity. The device features three DisplayPort 2.1b ports, an HDMI 2.1b port, and a Thunderbolt 4 port, allowing for the connection of up to six monitors simultaneously. Managing four 4K displays at once is not a problem for this system. It also includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, 5Gbps and 1Gbps Ethernet ports, and numerous USB interfaces.
Pricing and Configurations
The starting price for the system in the Japanese market is approximately $2,647. It is important to note that this base model is a "barebones" configuration, meaning users must purchase and install their own RAM, SSD, and operating system. Higher-end configurations, which include larger memory capacities and pre-installed Windows 11 Pro, can cost up to $4,750.
The arrival of the Magnus One Ultra is a major development for users who require a small workstation without compromising on graphics or processing power. This device proves that modern technology makes it possible to fit a high-end desktop into a small form factor, a trend that is likely to increase the popularity of such compact solutions in the future.
