Verizon’s New Bundle: iPhone Duo Paired With Unlimited Data
Apple’s first foldable device arrives with a new, passport-inspired design and a competitive carrier offer.

A New Era for Apple: iPhone Duo
Apple has officially unveiled its first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, introducing a distinct design concept to the market. The device features a 5.4-inch external display and a 7.6-inch internal Super Retina XDR screen. Its form factor, which resembles a passport rather than the book-like style of rival brands, is designed for user comfort. Furthermore, the screen’s matte surface minimizes the visual impact of the fold.
Technically, the iPhone Duo is powered by the latest A20 Pro chipset and features a titanium frame reinforced with ceramic fibers. Apple has also introduced specialized software features for this model, including Liquid Glass animations and Apple Pencil support—a first for the iPhone line. Notably, however, the device lacks features found in the iPhone 18 Pro series, such as Face ID, a telephoto camera, and the Action button.
Verizon’s Special Terms
In the U.S. market, Verizon has launched a promotional campaign to make the iPhone Duo more accessible. Under the company’s new “Simplicity” plan, customers can receive both the smartphone and an unlimited data package for $72.22 per month. This offer does not require a trade-in, making it one of the most competitive deals currently available.

Furthermore, “Simplicity” plan users are eligible for an annual device upgrade. Customers already subscribed to Verizon’s myPlan service can receive a $1,000 discount if they choose to trade in an older device. As an additional bonus, the carrier is offering a complimentary Apple Watch Series 12 or an iPad, though this requires the activation of an additional cellular line.
What This Means for International Users
Although this offer is focused on the American market, it highlights how major tech companies and mobile operators are working to bring foldable smartphones to the mass market. The arrival of the iPhone Duo in the Apple ecosystem signals that foldable technology will receive increasing attention in the coming years.
For consumers purchasing Apple products through official distributors or importers, this indicates that the innovative device will likely reach global markets soon. However, “all-in-one” bundles remain rare in many local markets. It is expected that the iPhone Duo will be positioned in the premium segment, making it accessible primarily to technology enthusiasts.
