This content includes simulated photos, videos and audio recordings created to trick social media algorithms and grab users' attention.

TikTok's algorithm focuses on user engagement, which extremist groups are exploiting. Artificial intelligence allows propagandists to generate thousands of different visual materials in a short time and with minimal resources.

This strategy is particularly effective at attracting younger viewers who might not follow traditional terrorist propaganda. Content created with AI tools is often disguised as popular internet trends and memes, making it harder for platform security systems to identify and block it.
