Beyond the environment, the update includes new story threads linked to the colonists of the ship Cicada and other creatures within the game world. Furthermore, the behavior of the Collector Leviathan has been refined to evoke even more fear and adrenaline in players.

Innovative Gadgets and Mechanical Changes

In addition to visual and narrative updates, Unknown Worlds has implemented significant changes to game mechanics. Players will gain access to new 'biomods' and gadgets. One of the most notable additions is the new 'frog chassis' for the Tadpole, which allows the character to utilise limbs. Additionally, the Dash mechanic has been simplified; it will no longer depend on an active biomod and is now integrated directly into the fins, granting players much greater freedom when selecting their equipment.
