Star Wars: Galactic Racer Character Biddy Blas Becomes an Internet Hit

Unexpected Popularity in the Star Wars Universe

Star Wars fans are known for embracing new, quirky, and sometimes controversial characters. Star Wars: Galactic Racer is no exception, having introduced fans to Biddy Blas. This arrogant, spoiled pilot has become an instant star of internet memes, thanks to his high-pitched voice and bizarre Huttese phrases, such as "Ding dong pookie."

Social media users have split into two camps: some are delighted by his victory dance, while others circulate videos of him losing and exploding in the game. Regardless, interest in the character shows no signs of slowing down, which has come as a surprise even to the actor who provided his voice.

The Actor's Reaction and Future Plans

Behind Biddy Blas is British wrestler Richard Summers-Calvert, who looks nothing like his character. In a video posted to X, he admitted that the hype surrounding the character is "overwhelming and exhausting." However, the actor is grateful for the opportunities this sudden popularity has brought him.

Summers-Calvert noted that he appreciates both the love and the negative emotions from fans, which he considers natural for a racing game. He also announced that he will share exciting news soon and hopes to meet fans in person at various festivals and events.

Why People Love Strange Star Wars Creatures

This case confirms once again that for Star Wars fans, the true charm of the space epic is not always just the battle between good and evil. Often, the real "heart" of the franchise lies in such strange, comedic characters and the details that fans have been exploring for years.

It seems that even in the Disney era, where some content is geared toward a family-friendly format, the Star Wars universe retains its unique ability to create characters that instantly become cultural phenomena. The success of Biddy Blas is clear proof of this, and it will be interesting to see how his story develops in future game updates.
