SpaceX Prepares for the First Orbital Flight of Starship

SpaceX has announced the date for the first orbital flight of its Starship spacecraft. According to the company's plan, the next launch is scheduled for 28 September.
As reported by Engadget, this will be Starship's 14th test flight. During this mission, the spacecraft will complete several orbital revolutions around Earth and remain in open space for a total of 10 hours.
A major milestone for SpaceX
Unlike previous test launches, an orbital flight represents a completely new challenge for the vehicle. Over the 10-hour mission, SpaceX engineers will be able to observe Starship's behaviour and system performance during extended periods in Earth orbit.
The Starship project sits at the core of SpaceX's long-term vision. The company is preparing this reusable spacecraft to transport heavy payloads into space and conduct long-distance flights in the future.
If the test scheduled for 28 September proves successful, it will mark a crucial step forward in the Starship development programme.
