Realme C01 Specs and Pricing Revealed Ahead of Launch
A Vietnamese retailer has leaked details of Realme's upcoming budget smartphone.

The new Realme C01 has surfaced ahead of its official market release. A Vietnamese retailer prematurely disclosed full specifications, pricing, and imagery for the device. While sales have not yet commenced, the hardware details are now clear.
Technical Specifications and Design
The Realme C01 features a 6.8-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720x1520 pixels. The screen boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 900 nits, protected by Panda Glass. Under the hood, the device is powered by a Unisoc T7250 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Storage can be expanded via a microSD card, a notable advantage for users in the budget segment.
Photography capabilities are modest: the rear houses an 8MP camera with 1080p video support, while the front features a 5MP selfie camera. The device's primary strength is its massive 6,500 mAh battery, though charging speed is limited to 15W. The smartphone runs on the Android 16 operating system.
Additional Features and Market Positioning
The Realme C01 is a 4G-enabled device featuring dual Nano-SIM slots, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC. Users will also find a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device carries an IP64 rating, providing resistance against dust and water splashes.
The handset appeared in retail listings for approximately $228 (5,990,000 Vietnamese Dong) and will be available in black, grey, and orange. Notably, the model number RMX5399 is already known in India as the Realme C100i. Consequently, the Realme C01 is likely a rebranded version intended for various global markets.
What This Means for Users
Realme's budget series is popular due to its affordability. While this device does not boast high performance, its large battery and comprehensive set of basic features make it a strong alternative for those needing a smartphone for everyday tasks. While an official arrival in local markets has not been confirmed, similar budget models frequently appear in retail networks.
