Poco X8s Debut: A Compact Smartphone With Powerful Performance
Poco has unveiled the new X8s, featuring a 6.35-inch OLED display and the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset.

Screen and Performance
At the heart of the smartphone is a 6.35-inch LTPO AMOLED display, boasting 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Poco has focused heavily on aesthetics: the bezels surrounding the screen are just 1.18 millimetres thin, while peak brightness reaches 3,500 nits, ensuring clear visibility even under direct sunlight.
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. Buyers can choose between various RAM and storage configurations, with a maximum of 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. This combination ensures smooth performance for both everyday applications and resource-intensive gaming.
Cameras and Battery Life
For photography enthusiasts, the Poco X8s is equipped with a triple rear camera system. The primary sensor is a 50MP Light Fusion 800, complemented by a 50MP telephoto lens and an 8MP ultra-wide module. A 20MP front camera is provided for high-quality video calls and selfies.

In terms of battery life, the smartphone features an impressive 6,330 mAh capacity. The 100W wired charging technology allows the device to be charged in a very short time. Additional features include an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, IP68 water resistance, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, and 5G support. The device runs on HyperOS 3, based on Android 16.
Price and Availability
Poco X8s will be available in three colours: blue, black, and white. The global starting price for the 8GB/256GB model is $399, while the 12GB/512GB version is priced at $499.
In Georgia, Poco smartphones have traditionally enjoyed great popularity due to their high performance at a low price point. It is expected that the X8s will soon appear in local retail chains, further intensifying competition in the mid-range smartphone market.
