Oppo Enco X4 Launch Globally: Flagship Audio and AI Noise Cancellation

Oppo has officially launched its new flagship wireless earbuds, the Enco X4, on the international market. Following their initial debut in China this September, the model is now rolling out globally alongside the Find X10 smartphone series, bringing premium-class audio specifications to users.

The standout feature of the new model is its acoustic architecture, developed in collaboration with the Danish premium brand Dynaudio. The charging case prominently displays the partnership logo.

Acoustic System and Smart Noise Cancellation

The Enco X4 utilizes a fourth-generation dual-driver system, consisting of an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter. Sound clarity and precision are managed by a dual digital-to-analog converter (DAC), which significantly enhances musical detail.

Special attention has been given to Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology. According to the manufacturer, noise suppression efficiency has improved by 200% compared to the predecessor, the Enco X3. This performance is powered by a cutting-edge 6nm neural processing unit (NPU), which analyzes ambient sounds in real-time to adjust noise cancellation intensity based on the environment.

Each earbud integrates four microphones: three standard silicon microphones and one bone-conduction sensor. The latter, combined with AI algorithms, effectively isolates the user's voice from wind and street noise during phone calls.

Ergonomics, Controls, and Battery Life

The Enco X4 chassis is rated IP55 for dust and water resistance, making it suitable for workouts and use in rainy weather. The earbuds feature squeeze controls on the stem, allowing users to manage playback and toggle between noise cancellation and transparency modes.

The device also includes a Conversation Awareness function; when the user begins speaking, music automatically pauses and ambient sound mode is activated. Fast Pair support is available for instantaneous connection to smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

In terms of battery life, the earbuds offer up to 53 hours of total playback when combined with the charging case. The case features a glossy, pearlescent finish with silver detailing and supports both USB-C wired charging and wireless charging.

Price and Availability

Oppo Enco X4 is available in two colours: Aurora Violet and Glacier White. The product has launched in European, UK, and Indian markets. In the European Union, the starting price is €199, with an additional €20 discount currently available as part of a promotion, while in the UK, the earbuds can be purchased for £189.
