Huawei Announces New Enjoy 100 Smartphone Series

Huawei has officially announced the release date for its new Enjoy 100 smartphone series. The company confirmed that the devices will be presented in China on October 28 at 14:30 local time. Consumers can already place orders, as pre-sales have commenced via the company's official online store and partner retail platforms.
Design and Variety
Promotional materials indicate that the series will be available in three colours: blue, white, and orange. Each model features a distinct camera layout. The blue model sports a large, circular camera module accented with a red ring, housing three lenses and a flash. The white and orange versions feature square-shaped modules with vertically aligned lenses, with the flash placed in a separate section.
Technical Specifications and Performance
Huawei stated that the new series will be powered by Kirin 8-series processors, positioning the devices as competitive in the mid-range segment. The lineup includes four models: Enjoy 100 Pro Max, Enjoy 100 Pro, Enjoy 100, and Enjoy 100m. Chipsets vary by model; the Pro Max version is equipped with the Kirin 8020 (in the 512GB version) and the Kirin 8020A (in the 256GB and 128GB versions). The remaining models, including the base Enjoy 100 and Enjoy 100m, rely on Kirin 8000S processors.

A key highlight of the series is the so-called "Giant Whale" battery. Preliminary data suggests the Enjoy 100 Pro Max will feature an 8,800 mAh capacity battery, one of the highest in the smartphone market. The devices will run on the HarmonyOS 7 operating system and include an integrated anti-fraud protection system.
What to Expect
Regarding the display, the Pro Max version will offer a 6.84-inch flat 1.5K LTPS panel. Notably, the series will support BeiDou satellite messaging, a significant addition for safety. For comparison, the previous generation Enjoy 90 Pro Max featured an 8,500 mAh battery, demonstrating Huawei’s continued commitment to improving battery life.
For users in Georgia, this series is of interest as part of the expansion of the Huawei ecosystem. While models intended for the Chinese market do not always reach the global market immediately, the development of Kirin chipsets and HarmonyOS serves as a significant indicator of how the company is navigating technological constraints to provide high-autonomy devices to its customers.
