How to Complete the Four Fierce Axes Quest in Phantom Blade Zero

Starting the Four Fierce Axes Mission
Players encounter many intriguing challenges in Phantom Blade Zero, but Four Fierce Axes is among the most demanding. This mission typically begins after completing Flesh Lily, once you locate the first "Four Axes" file in the Broken Puppet Valley region. Your primary objective is to investigate the mystery of the "Four Axes Rebellion," which involves gathering evidence regarding a conspiracy within the region.
Finding the Evidence: All Seven Files
To successfully complete the mission, you must collect seven case files. Some are scattered across Broken Puppet Valley on tables or near corpses, while others are in more difficult locations. For example, you will find a file on a table between the bells at Rustblade Pavillion and the Outpost Courtyard, specifically in the area where the game teaches you the "jump assassinate" technique. Another file is hidden in the ruins near the Axemaster's Holding Cell.
For the subsequent stages, you will need to use the Hunter's Chain Sickle. After obtaining a key at the top of the Sha-Chi Tower, you can unlock the door at the entrance to the Creek Valley Plains, where the fifth file awaits in a forge. You will receive the sixth file during the Festering Secret mission, once you break a barrier with the Dread Axe and complete the task with the lieutenant.

The final, seventh file is the most remote. It only becomes accessible once you reach the Village of Lu region and start the Leave None Alive mission. Return to the starting post, pass through Lady's Cave, and use the Hunter's Sickle to reach the platform where the last piece of evidence is located.
The Finale: Child of Insight and Rewards
Once you have collected all seven files, it is time to head toward Pangzhen. This is the game's fourth region, where your goal is to find the Child of Insight. After battling the building's guards, you must navigate three floors to obtain the key to the roof. Speaking with the character waiting on the roof marks the end of the mission.
As a reward, you will receive the Blood Oath Dagger. This item allows you to perform Soul Tempering on the Dread Axe, which will significantly strengthen your weapon. Although the mission may seem difficult, the markers on the map will greatly assist your navigation. In the world of Phantom Blade Zero, this step is one of the most important for your character's development.
