Apple Releases Updated watchOS 27.2 Release Candidate
The latest update significantly expands the AI capabilities of the virtual assistant.

Apple has introduced a new, updated Release Candidate (RC) version of watchOS 27.2 for Apple Watch users. The company pushed this update just four days after the first RC version, indicating a high level of system stability and readiness. The update is now available to both registered developers and public beta testers, who can download it directly via the watch settings or the Apple Watch app on their iPhone.
Improved AI for Siri
The update focuses primarily on enhancing Siri’s artificial intelligence capabilities. Apple aims to make the virtual assistant faster and more context-aware. With these new features, Siri can now remember details from previous conversations. For example, if Siri recommended specific restaurants last week, you can now ask follow-up questions about those suggestions.
Furthermore, Siri now utilizes a more diverse range of sources to generate responses. The system can analyze photos received in messages, calendar event participants, voicemail, and Safari history or Reading Lists. This allows users to receive more accurate and personalized information directly from their watch.
Privacy and Accessibility
Apple has added a new feature called Excluded Apps, which gives users complete control over Siri’s access to search and recommendations. You can now specify in the main settings which applications you want to restrict Siri from accessing. This change represents a significant step forward in protecting user privacy.
Regarding language support, Siri’s AI capabilities are now available in French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. However, it is important to note that these features are not yet available in European Union member states or China. Additionally, thanks to optimization, Siri’s response times on the watch have become significantly faster.
What to Expect
Beyond the updates to Siri, watchOS 27.2 includes critical security patches and various bug fixes to ensure the stability of the watch. According to Apple’s plans, the final version of the operating system will be available to the general public next week.
For users in Georgia who actively use the Apple Watch, this update offers a completely new experience when interacting with Siri. However, as the Georgian language is not yet supported by Siri, the full range of new AI features will only be available in foreign languages. Nevertheless, improvements to system speed and contextual search will make daily use of the watch much more comfortable.
