Apple Expands Creator Studio with New AI Features and Tools
The professional software suite gets a major boost with AI integration and enhanced video editing tools.

Innovations in Apple's Software Ecosystem
Apple has announced a major update to its professional software suite, Creator Studio. This decision coincides with the company’s introduction of the new M6-chip-based iMac and MacBook Pro. The updates, scheduled for release in November, significantly increase the suite's value and strengthen the role of artificial intelligence (AI) within it.
Creator Studio, which includes Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Pixelmator Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Logic Pro, remains available for a monthly subscription fee of $12.99. Notably, Apple is maintaining its special educational discount, making the package particularly attractive to students and educators.
Pixelmator Pro and the Power of AI
As part of the update, Pixelmator Pro is gaining a new Generate Fill feature. This tool allows users to select a specific area of an image and use AI to add or replace desired objects. This move brings Pixelmator Pro’s functionality closer to the capabilities of Adobe Photoshop, allowing photographers to complete complex editing processes within a single application.

Intelligent Assistants for the Office
Keynote, Pages, and Numbers are being enhanced with new AI assistants. These will help users create presentations, write documents, and manage spreadsheets. Particularly noteworthy is the support for OpenAI models, which, alongside Apple's proprietary AI technologies, significantly expands the applications' capabilities. This integration will allow users to work more flexibly with both Apple and third-party AI tools.
Video Editing at a New Level
For Final Cut Pro users, November will bring a special update: thousands of creative resources from MotionVFX will be integrated directly into the editing software. This includes various effects, transitions, templates, and titles, allowing video editors to avoid external platforms and complete full-scale projects entirely within the Apple ecosystem.
These updates will be free for existing subscribers. Although Apple has not yet announced exact dates, these features are expected to be fully optimised for devices equipped with the new M6 chip. For users who actively rely on Apple hardware for creative work, these updates offer a real opportunity to streamline workflows and increase productivity.
